We are thrilled to officially welcome Dr. Michael Grunstein to our clinical team. Bringing a rich background in academic clinical medicine, public health, and specialized neurology, Dr. Grunstein expands our practice’s commitment to providing advanced, evidence-based care for patients across our community.
Dr. Grunstein completed fellowship training in Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at Yale, following his neurology residency training. He provides comprehensive care for adults with a wide range of neurological conditions, while bringing specialized expertise in Multiple Sclerosis, neuroimmunology, and complex neurological disorders.
Academic Foundation & Clinical Background
In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Grunstein holds a Master of Public Health (MPH), giving him a broader perspective on prevention, long term health, and disease management.
Specialized Focus: Multiple Sclerosis & Neuroimmunology
While Dr. Grunstein evaluates and treats a wide array of general neurological conditions including headache of all types, concussion, memory decline, ADHD, Lyme disease and other complex neurological mysteries, he brings a specialized focus to Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and neuroimmunology.
Multiple Sclerosis is a complex, autoimmune condition affecting the central nervous system (the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves). Because MS presents uniquely in every individual, Dr. Grunstein emphasizes a highly personalized, approach to diagnosis, treatment, and long term care.
Patient Care Philosophy: A True Partnership
Dr. Grunstein believes that effective neurological care relies on active listening, open communication, and shared decision-making.
"Managing a neurological condition like Multiple Sclerosis requires much more than reviewing a scan or writing a prescription. It requires a true partnership between patient and physician. My goal is to ensure every patient feels fully heard, well-educated about their options, and confident in their treatment plan."
— Dr. Michael Grunstein
